More Than a Celebration: Eagle Fun Days 2026

There is something special about a community that comes together to celebrate where they live. Eagle Fun Days is more than a weekend of festivities. It is a celebration of the people, traditions, and local businesses that make Eagle such a remarkable place to call home.

Throughout the weekend, our team enjoyed welcoming families and visitors to our booth, connecting with fellow local businesses, and joining the parade with our float. Whether we were handing out giveaways, sharing conversations, or simply waving to familiar and new faces along the parade route, every interaction reminded us why Eagle has earned its reputation as one of Idaho’s most vibrant communities.

This year’s celebration was especially meaningful as HC Company begins a new chapter in Eagle with the opening of our new headquarters. While our roots have always been firmly planted in the Treasure Valley these past 24 years, establishing our home in Eagle has been met with an incredibly warm welcome. Eagle Fun Days gave us the opportunity to experience firsthand the pride, generosity, and sense of belonging that define this community.

HC Company Becomes 100% Employee-Owned, Reinforcing Long-Term Commitment to Its People, Clients, and Community

HC Company, a Boise-based commercial general contractor with 24 years of service across Idaho and the Intermountain West, announced that it has officially transitioned to a 100 percent employee-owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), effective January 1, 2026.

The decision reflects a deliberate and values-driven approach to ownership succession designed to preserve HC Company’s culture, strengthen long-term stability, and ensure the people who build the company’s success share directly in its future.

“HC Company was not built by any one person. It was built by all of us,” said the company’s ownership group. “Those who build the future of this company should own the future of this company.”

Under the ESOP, employees share in ownership at no cost to them. Day-to-day operations, leadership, and client relationships remain unchanged. Ownership cited the decision as an intentional step to preserve the company’s culture, leadership continuity, and long-term independence.

HC Company employs approximately 80 professionals and is projected to deliver more than $100 million in construction revenue in 2026. From its earliest projects 24 years ago to its current portfolio of complex commercial, civic, and healthcare facilities, the company has built a reputation for honesty, quality, and lasting relationships.

“We genuinely believe employee ownership is the best path forward, not only for our people, but also for our clients and the communities we serve,” ownership shared.

As an employee-owned company, HC Company plans to place an even greater emphasis on leadership development, internal growth, and long-term talent investment. The ESOP structure reinforces a culture where collaboration, accountability, and shared success are foundational to how the company operates.

HC Company will provide ongoing education and transparency to employees regarding the ESOP and what ownership means for them over time. A company-wide celebration and information session will be held in the coming months.

Boise in Bloom

Rainy days don’t keep HC-Co away! We planted flowers at Ann Morrison Park as part of the City of Boise’s “Boise in Bloom” service project. We hope that the bright pinks and oranges will bring joy to young and old alike. We are so lucky to have so many parks and recreational areas in our city, and we are proud to keep it beautiful!
